This is a one off opportunity to taste 5 beers judged in this year’s competition and to judge the beer yourself. Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance.
The session will include the two winning beers that will go forward to the national judging and will cover:
- The history of the Champion Beer of Britain.
- How beers are chosen for this competition and how it differs from any other beer competition in the world
- How beers are judged and the beer style categories
- A chance for you to judge five beers judged in this year's competition including two winning beers that will go forward to the national judging.
It will give an opportunity for attendees to compare their scores against the panel.
The tasting will start at 1.30pm and the ticket price includes a pint of cask beer from the pub’s own brewery, the London Brewing Company, winner of CAMRA’s 2022 Champion Mild of London.
Due to the exclusive nature of the event, places are limited.
