Your brain is lying to you. You have more than five senses. And yes—you really can hear the difference between an IPA and a stout.
Join award-winning beer writer and broadcaster Pete Brown for a one-of-a-kind audio-visual beer tasting experience, based on the fascinating research behind his latest book – Tasting Notes: The art and science of pairing beer and music.
Blending neuroscience, storytelling, fandom, and a healthy dose of humour (we promise at least three good jokes), this immersive session has been developed over a decade to challenge everything you think you know about how you taste and perceive beer.
As you explore the science behind flavour and perception, you’ll also enjoy a curated selection of expertly brewed ales.
It’s not just a tasting - it’s a sensory voyage of discovery that will change the way you experience beer forever.
