Abbeydale Tutored Tasting
A tutored beer tasting and discussion led by experts from the oldest established brewery in Sheffield. This event will explore the depth and breadth of the Abbeydale range.
Established in 1996 and employee owned since 2024, multi-award winning Abbeydale is Sheffield’s oldest brewery. They produced 96 different beers in 2025 (over 75% cask) representing 5% growth. New beers include collaborations, the Dr Morton’s range and small batch brews from the "Funk Dungeon" barrel project. Recent expansion includes an online offering and growing export business. An onsite brewery shop is open weekdays. A local taproom is planned to open Spring 2026. The Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) also own the Rising Sun.
You will be introduced to five beers, each in a 1/3 pint measure.
The selected beers provide a variety of both beer styles and a range of strengths.
