Matching beer with chocolate brings out the flavours in both.
From a beer’s roasty malts, such as in a stout, complementing the dark roast in a chocolate with a high cocoa solid content to a bitter bringing out the flavours in a chocolate with fruits and spice. And find out what beers goes with white chocolate!
This tutored tasting, led by Master Trainer and International Beer Judge, Christine Cryne, will combine five beers with five chocolates, all free trade and some with interesting, yet delightful flavours.
The tasting starts at 2.15pm in the upstairs room in the Pineapple, a regular entry into CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and just 5 minute walk from Kentish Town Station.
The session will last about 2 hours.
