Charity Quiz Night Saturday 18th October memory of Richard Wilding

We are holding this quiz night in memory of Richard whose 60th birthday would have been on October 17th. As all his family, friends, colleagues and former pupils will know, Richard loved a quiz so it is a fitting way to mark this occasion. Don't worry, the questions won't be as fiendishly difficult as Richard's were! All proceeds from the evening will go to Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care who provided such wonderful care for Richard, and support to Louise, Alice and Madeleine.

  • Venue: Royston Club, 12 College Road, St Albans. AL1 5ND
  • Doors open: 7:00 for a 7:45 start
  • Doors close: 11:00
  • Light snacks will be provided.
  • A range of real ales, lagers, ciders, spirits, wine and soft drinks available to purchase at the bar.
  • Raffle on the night at £1 a ticket - please bring cash!
  • Over 18s only

If you have any questions, please email wilding_louise@hotmail.com or message 07976 893742.

Campaign for Real Ale

The Campaign for Real Ale - an independent, voluntary organisation which campaigns for real ale, cider and perry as well as protecting and promoting community pubs and clubs and fighting for consumer rights.

CAMRA is considered one of the most successful consumer organisations across Europe. Founded by four real ale enthusiasts back in 1971, today we represent beer drinkers and pub-goers across the UK.

Our vision is to have quality real ale, cider and perry and thriving pubs in every community. We do this by supporting and encouraging the beer and pubs trade by running beer festivals, lobbying Government for change, running numerous awards and developing bespoke pub finders and guides.

There’s plenty for everyone, whether you’re a dedicated campaigner, a beer connoisseur looking to learn more about beer or just want to meet up with friends in your local. Why not join the beer movement?

You can join for just £30.50 a year by visiting join.camra.org.uk
