Peterborough & District CAMRA are pleased to confirm that the 45th Peterborough CAMRA Beer Festival will take place from Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th August held in massive marquees on the River Embankment in Peterborough city centre. The site is only a few minutes walk from Peterborough railway station and the bus and coach stations. The address is: The Embankment (Behind Key Theatre), Embankment Road, Peterborough, PE1 1EF. The format will be very similar to that of last year. The outside drinking area will be larger and more seating will be available. Old favourites will, of course, abound. Possibly the largest continuous beer bar ever seen in the UK (100 yards+) and kicking off with 56,000 pints of cask conditioned ales of all kinds and flavours. Again we will feature our ever growing Key Keg Bar with a selection of “Craft Ales” reflecting all styles and tastes and finally our World Beer Bar will again offer a huge range of bottled beers. But it’s not just about the beer we will also be showcasing our Cider Bar, Wine Bar and now infamous Gin Bar. There will our “Escape Bar” with sensibly priced soft drinks and snacks, numerous food vendors around the site and the best of Peterborough’s musicians to keep you entertained whilst enjoying your chosen refreshments.
